  • What are the check-in and check-out times?

    Check-in is from 2:00 pm, and check-out is by 11:00 am. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged subject to availability.

  • What’s included in the different dining packages, and what culinary experiences are excluded or discounted?

    We offer Bed & Breakfast, Half-Board, Full-Board, and All-Inclusive options. Depending on your choice, you’ll enjoy daily breakfast, and a selection of lunches and/or dinners across our restaurants. The All-Inclusive package also includes a curated list of beverages and snacks throughout the day. Some premium items (such as fine wines, champagnes, and specialty menus) are not included but can be enjoyed with a supplement.

  • What is the evening dress code across the restaurants?

    Evenings at LUX* Belle Mare are relaxed yet elegant. We kindly ask gentlemen to wear trousers or tailored shorts with a shirt or polo after 6:30 pm. Swimwear, sportswear, and sleeveless shirts are best kept for the daytime.

  • Are snorkelling facilities available on-site or nearby?

    Yes! Complimentary snorkelling equipment is available at our boathouse, and our team will happily guide you to the best spots in the lagoon. Daily snorkelling trips are also organised by the boathouse - you’ll find the schedule of outings displayed there. For those looking to explore further, boat trips to nearby reefs can be arranged as well.

  • Does the resort have its own golf course or is access provided to nearby golf facilities?

    While LUX* Belle Mare doesn’t have its own course, we offer privileged access to several world-class golf courses located nearby. Transfers and tee times can be arranged by our concierge.

  • Are there adults-only areas for guests seeking a quieter atmosphere?

    Yes. While the resort welcomes guests of all ages, there are dedicated adult zones near the main pool and along the beach, as well as our spa facilities, which are exclusively for adults. These areas provide a calm and serene atmosphere for those seeking relaxation and tranquillity.

  • Are private villas an option for families seeking extra privacy?

    Absolutely. Our villas are ideal for families who want space, privacy, and personalised service while still enjoying access to the full resort facilities.

  • What benefits do villas offer beyond standard suites?

    Villas offer extra space, private pools, and direct beach or garden access. They also come with the dedicated service of a private butler, ensuring every detail of your stay is taken care of.

  • Which type of electrical sockets are available in the rooms?

    All rooms and villas are fitted with British-style 220–240V sockets (Type G). Universal adapters are available upon request from the front desk.

  • Which sports, wellness, and entertainment activities are included?

    A wide variety of complimentary activities are included in your stay, from yoga sessions, fitness classes, and beach volleyball to non-motorised water sports such as paddleboarding, kayaking, and windsurfing. Our weekly programme - displayed near the fitness centre and on your in-room TV - highlights the full schedule, including wellness experiences, live music, and themed evenings.

  • Which unique island experiences are offered?

    From sunrise swims and beach picnics to immersive Mauritian cooking classes and rum tastings, we curate experiences that bring the spirit of the island to life. Guests can also join our sustainability initiatives, including our sea turtle conservation project.

FREE CANCELLATION

1. The sales conditions for the reserved rate or package specify the terms for cancelling and/or changing the reservation.
2. For properties: LUX* Belle Mare, LUX* Le Morne, LUX* Grand Gaube:
- Stays between 27.01.2026 to 31.03.2025: Prepaid reservations can be changed or cancelled free of charge up to 7 days prior to arrival; thereafter 100% of stay charged; No-Show: 100% of stay charged.
- As from 01.04.2026: Prepaid reservations can be changed or cancelled free of charge up to 30 days prior to arrival; thereafter 100% of stay charged; No-Show: 100% of stay charged.
For LUX* Grand Baie, Mauritius, the following applies:
- Free cancellation up to 14 days prior to arrival; thereafter 100% of stay charged; No-Show: 100% of stay charged.
For LUX* Saint Gilles, Reunion Island: Prepaid reservations can be changed or cancelled free of charge up to 14 days prior to arrival; thereafter 100% of stay charged; No-Show: 100% of stay charged.
For LUX* Marijani Zanzibar, the following applies:
- Free cancellation up to 3 days prior to arrival until 31.05.2026. As from 01.06.2026 onwards, free cancellation up to 7 days prior to arrival.
For LUX* South Ari Atoll, Maldives, the following applies:
- Free cancellation up to 30 days prior to arrival; thereafter 100% of stay charged; No-Show: 100% of stay charged.
- A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid at least 40 days prior to arrival.
- From 23.12.2026 - 05.01.2027: Free cancellation up to 45 days prior to arrival; thereafter 100% of stay charged; No-Show: 100% of stay charged. A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid at least 60 days prior to arrival.
If ever the reservation includes non-refundable components, it will be stipulated in the sales conditions for the rate or package.
3. Membership flexible rate can be changed or cancelled free of charge up to 7 days prior to arrival; thereafter, 100% of stay charged; No-Show: 100% of stay charged.
4. When the sales conditions for the reserved rate or package allow:
- The reservation can be cancelled via the “Contact Us” section on www.luxresorts.com website or by contacting Customer Services on the contact details stated above in Article 9 in Terms and Conditions.
- Changes to the reservation can be made with Customer Services, whose contact details are stated on the reservation confirmation sent by email and in Article 9 above.
5. In the event that the stay is interrupted, the agreed price will be paid in full. No reimbursement will be given for a prepaid reservation.
6. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the customer must vacate the room before 12 p.m. on the last day of the reservation, unless otherwise stated in the rate conditions booked. Failure to do so shall result in the customer being billed for an extra night.
