LUX*’s very first Beach Rouge was created at LUX* Belle Mare. It makes sense when you know the beach of Belle Mare – sand like sugar that stretches to the horizon, and all the shades of blue. Equal parts beach club and restaurant, Beach Rouge evolves and metamorphoses throughout the day. Lunches are long and lazy. For a moment, you’ll feel transported to the shores of a Greek Island. When the sun dips below the horizon, the entire Beach Rouge is lit up in an electrifying red tint, to which it owes its name. This shift in mood draws night owls for festive dinners.

LUX* Belle Mare has always welcomed families big and small. And this will never change. We like to think of our younger guests as Little Travellers. Our modern and mindful Kids Club, PLAY, welcomes children ages 3-11. Studio 17 is the dream hangout for the older crowd of tweens and teens. There’s also a toddler space, and babysitting services for parents’ ‘date night’. We have nourishing and tasty kids menus in all of our restaurants, and at Mondo, there’s even a kids corner with tableware and a buffet of their size. Poolside (it’s one of the island’s biggest swimming pools), is ICI, our artisanal ice cream parlour. Families can book our interconnected beach hut-style suites—they have cabana days beds, ideal for the tropics.

From the arrival, a pathway lined with tropical greens and sheer linens swaying gently in the breeze to the coral and rose-hued Aperitivo bar with its counter made with reclaimed sand tinted pink, the design at LUX* Belle Mare is an invitation to enter holiday mood. Each touch, conceived by architect and designer Jean-Marc Tang, is thoughtful, with a story behind: the tiles on the arches in the tropical Ryad-like lobby are hand-glazed. At Duck Laundry, guests dine under a ceiling centrepiece of hanging red ribbons in lanterns. Inside Amari is a fresco inspired by traditional Indian folk art and painted in natural dye. The greenery, minimalism, and a hint of tropical, all comes together at LUX* Belle Mare.

At LUX* ME spa, the personalised treatments focus on fluidity and incorporate movement, such as the Aerial Thai massage. At the fitness centre, the workouts are mindful, kinetic. You’ll find assisted stretching, cardio, aerial fitness, aquatherapy. It’s all about letting go and balancing ourselves with nature.
