Instead, chat with the waiter about your likes and dislikes when it comes to food, and the kitchen team will prepare a vibrant dish. As for the restaurant setting, well, it’s steps from the beach (the view of the moonlit lagoon is “wow”), with sleek dark interiors–perfect for Date Night.

I’m from Nakhon Sawan, a province in northern Thailand. I never thought that I’d one day become a chef. Mostly because I studied finance. I first started my career at a bank. At 28, the moment I chose to become a chef, I knew my cuisine would be all about senses and emotions. I want people to feel joy when discovering my dishes. I give free rein to my imagination and do my best to transform meals into cheerful experiences. I believe that the presentation of the dish is what counts the most. It’s the first impression and represents right there, the mindset and vision of the chef.

  • As relaxing as a holiday is, we ask that you wear a cover-up over swimwear at our daytime restaurants. In the evening, an island chic wardrobe is a must. No flip-flops please! At The Kitchen and The Beach, bermuda shorts are fine. At EAST and KAWAII, gentlemen in trousers please!

What else?

Note that East is not included in any meal plans. However, if you are on a Half Board, Full Board or All Inclusive, you get a credit of MUR 800 to spend on food.

1. The sales conditions for the reserved rate or package specify the terms for cancelling and/or changing the reservation.
2. Prepaid reservations can be changed or cancelled free of charge up to 30 days prior to arrival; thereafter 100% of stay charged; No-Show: 100% of stay charged, for Mauritian & Reunion Island properties.
Note for LUX* South Ari Atoll, Maldives, the following applies:
From 01.02.2024 to 22.12.2024: Prepaid, refundable and amendable up to 30 days prior to arrival.  Thereafter and for no-show 100% charged.
From 23.12.2024 to 05.01.2025: Prepaid, refundable and amendable up to 60 days prior to arrival. Thereafter and for no-show 100% charged.
From 06.01.2025 to 31.01.2025: Prepaid, refundable and amendable up to 30 days prior to arrival. Thereafter and for no-show 100% charged.
If ever the reservation includes non-refundable components, it will be stipulated in the sales conditions for the rate or package.
3. When the sales conditions for the reserved rate or package allow:
- The reservation can be cancelled via the “Contact Us” section on www.luxresorts.com website or by contacting Customer Services on the contact details stated above in Article 9 in Terms and Conditions.
- Changes to the reservation can be made with Customer Services, whose contact details are stated on the reservation confirmation sent by email and in Article 9 above.
4. In the event that the stay is interrupted, the agreed price will be paid in full. No reimbursement will be given for a prepaid reservation.
5. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the customer must vacate the room before 12 p.m. on the last day of the reservation, unless otherwise stated in the rate conditions booked. Failure to do so shall result in the customer being billed for an extra night.
