GARDEN TABLE: EMBRACING THE PLANT-BASED LIFESTYLE

With a little help from Grace Van Berkum (her mission is to spread the message of plant-based nutrition and self-love by teaching others how to be mindful about how they live and what they eat) we designed a menu in five levels, with level 1 being an introduction to raw and cooked plant-based diets, and level 5, a liquid detox menu consisting of smoothies, juices, soups, elixirs and tonics. But being plant-based isn’t just about a diet; the motives can extend into other areas of daily life. Grace is the founder of Gracious Living Lifestyle Retreats and Gracious Living Oasis, a retreat centre in Nicaragua.
