“We’ve been going to this hotel for 10 years as it’s perfect for families with small children – very safe and friendly.”
Island escapes aren't just for grown-ups anymore: LUX* Belle Mare has thought of all the little touches that make holidays at the resort a treat for the whole family.
Play is a fun, exciting kids club for guests aged 3 to 11. Open until 10pm, it’s jam-packed with features to keep your little ones busy: there’s a splash pool, an outdoor culinary school with entertaining hands-on sessions, an interactive buffet station, an e-zone, a reading corner and a quiet zone. Fun-loving and full of energy, the resort’s qualified team members run activities to introduce children to the island’s nature and culture. Beach games and other outdoor pursuits are guaranteed to burn energy.
The Cake Boss is particularly popular: every Friday at 3pm, kids can enjoy making and decorating a cake; a kids’ film is also shown on the big screen at 8pm. There’s plenty for the sweet-toothed the rest of the week too: just pop in to LUX*’s unique cake-decorating bar, where they can help to ice a variety of pre-baked cakes and cupcakes – it’s messy, spongy fun.
Do you have a budding Serena Williams or Roger Federer on your hands? Get them off to a good start with Teddy Tennis coaching sessions. Available every morning, the first class (2.30–3.15pm) is for tennis tots aged three to five and a half, after which kids up to seven years old can get their turn on the courts.
For 12–17 year-olds, Studio 17 is a club run by trained and enthusiastic LUX* supervisors. Open until 8pm, it boasts of a variety of sociable games and activities such as a pool table, table football, iMac stations, table tennis and board games. With local dance and language classes, beach sports and exciting adventure trips around the island, teens can really make the most of their island holiday.
With kids free to play, splash and make friends to their heart’s content, parents can indulge in a heavenly session at the spa or sneak off for sundowners at the beachfront bar.
