Guests do not need to know how to swim and it’s ok if they have fear the water, Laurelene will help them go through it.

All guests are welcome, even with body pain or injuries.

Pregnant women (& couples) can of course come to the workshops. If they want specific movements to prepare for birth, they would be welcome to book an individual session.

Aqua Serena Water Relaxation

With Laurelene

The healing effect of water has been known for thousands of years. Even in modern times we go to the spa, swimming, the beach to get in touch with this powerful element. Everybody loves to take a shower and feel fresh. Aqua Serena is where we take this a step further, we release stress, tension, muscle fatigue and become more flexible, by floating and being guided by movements in the water one on one. She has worked with water her whole life. She learned Atma-Janzu and Aguahara, two beautiful techniques coming from Janzu which were initially developed in Mexico in the 1980s. With her experience, she has built on these systems and adapted the techniques for greater sensitivity to the individual. The session last for an hour and can be one on one or for couples. She also works with pregnant women and the water floatation can really help the mother. This technique is of great benefits for individuals who are frightened of water and can allow them to learn how to float.


Session 1 (morning) - 90 mins
Water Relaxation
Discovery of water relaxation you will learn how to make someone float comfortably in your arms & explore simple movements to release body tensions in water.


Session 2 (afternoon) - 90 mins
Water Relaxation for Women
This is a time for women to share an intimate space and celebrate the female energy.


ABOUT LAURELENE

Laurélène affectionally known as Lolo was born in Paris, she graduated in economics and marketing. She later went on to work at Saatchi & Saatchi and build a residency program for the private members club ’The Hospital Club’ in London, supporting the emerging art scene. After a very successful career she decide to train as a coach and follow her passion of wellbeing and yoga, using water therapies, in particular for pregnant women. She has given her workshops internationally to great acclaim. She is developing wider reaching programs in developing countries.
