Main Purpose of the Job

The Lux Collective is hiring for the position of HEAD SPA COORDINATOR based at LUX* GRAND BAIE, MAURITIUS.

The incumbent will be responsible to:

  • Assist the Head of Spa and Wellness and Head Spa Therapist in managing the daily operation at the Spa Reception and all common areas of the spa.
  • Maximise all sales opportunities and revenues through spa visits, consultations and in appointments taken.
  • Efficiently handle scheduling, canceling and/or re-scheduling of Guests appointments.
  • Handle the point of sales (POS) transactions timely and efficiently.
  • Answer and respond professionally to Guest through telephone or at the Spa reception and promptly address queries and/or complaints.
  • Ensure that the spa reception, spa displays and common areas look clean, organized and appealing.
  • Communicate with the Head of Spa & Wellness and Head Spa Therapist regarding needs and issues.
  • Comply and follow the Health, Hygiene and Safety Standards at all times.
Qualifications
  • At least a Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
  • National Certificate Level 3 in Front Office operation or equivalent qualification will be an advantage.
  • Recognised qualification in Aesthetics and Massage Therapy.
Previous Performance
  • A minumum of 2 years of working experience at a Reception in a Hotel Spa Environment.

  • Excellent grooming and presentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French languages. A third language will be a definite advantage.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours during Weekends and Public Holidays.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Package.
  • A clean certificate of character is a must.
