At the 16th ceremony of the Worldwide Hospitality Awards held in Paris last week, the group, through LUX* Me Wellness Concierge, won the title of “Best Innovation in Wellness”. At another ceremony in Lon-don, LUX* Belle Mare was named “Best spa in Mauritius”. The same hotel distinguished itself at the Jun-ior Design Awards 2015 as “Highly Commended as Best Family Hotel (outside Europe)”. Furthermore, at the TUI awards event, LUX* Grand Gaube, Mauritius was the "First Choice Gold Medal 2015 Premier Overall winner for Mauritius".

The Worldwide Hospitality Awards valorizes initiatives taken by groups, brands and hotels to make the international hotel industry evolve. 45 finalists and winners were retained out of more than 200 applica-tions for 15 categories, following an online vote and the deliberation of two juries of experts, hoteliers and non-hoteliers, presided over by Laurence Parisot, honorary president of Medef and vice president Ifop, and Michael Wale, president Europe, Africa and Middle East division at Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
Spa Finder World Travel Awards – LUX* Belle Mare wins “Best Spa in Mauritius”
LUX* Belle Mare has collected the Best Spa in Mauritius at the Spa Finder World Travel Awards 2015. Inaugurated in 2014, the Wellness Travel Awards recognize the demand for healthier travel options and honor hotels, resorts, destination spas and retreats worldwide offering the best wellness vacations and experiences. The winners were selected by a panel of 33 travel and wellness industry editors and experts, who nominated 504 properties for consideration before narrowing the field to finalists in 53 countries, and by consumers who voted for their favorite locations across 20 categories.
TUI awards event – LUX* Grand Gaube, Mauritius, wins “First Choice Gold Medal 2015 Premier Overall winner for Mauritius”
The awards rewarded the achievements of Thomson and First Choice hoteliers from around the world. Eighteen Overall Gold Awards were up for grabs from TUI UK and the winning hotels were picked based on their feedback scores from Customer Satisfaction Questionnaires, completed by Thomson and First Choice holidaymakers this summer.
Junior Design Awards 2015 – LUX* Belle Mare wins “Best Family Hotel (outside Europe)”
With nearly 300 shortlisted entries to deliberate over, the expert panel of Junior Design Awards 2015 judges had their criteria set on fashion and lifestyle. This year's brilliant panel included singer Rachel Ste-vens, TV weather presenter, meteorologist and Junior columnist Kirsty McCabe, designer and Junior col-umnist Olivia Rubin, journalist Alison Perry of notanothermummyblog.com, journalist Erica Davies of The Edited, Dan Stockely and Zoe Goldsmith of fashion brand Hucklebones, Editor of Prima Baby magazine Kelly Beswick, Consumer editor Alison Alexander, and Junior's content editor, Catherine Hudson.
