Paul Jones Paul Jones
Chief Executive Officer

Born in 1949, Paul Jones has over 43 years of experience in the hotel industry and has significantly contributed to the establishment and development of the tourism industry of Mauritius. He was the Managing Director of Sun Resorts Ltd for almost 20 years and the company flourished under his leadership. As the former Chief Operating Officer and for the past 3 years as President of One&Only he has been instrumental in successfully developing the brand on a global basis. He holds a Master in Business Administration from the University of Surrey and completed the Program for Management Development of the Havard Business School. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality and was conferred the Dignity of Companion of the Order of St Michael and St Georges by her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the recommendation of the Prime Minister of Mauritius and also received the Chevalier de l'Etoile d'Anjouan from the President of the Comores, both recognizing his contribution to the growth and development of the hotel and tourism in the respective countries.He has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Naiade Resorts Ltd on 1st October 2010 and as Director on the Board on 29'" September 2011.
 
Desiree Ellilah Désiré Elliah
Chief Financial Officer

Born in 1964, Désiré Elliah is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants with 26 years experience in auditing, accounting and corporate finance. Before joining the Group in 2004 as Chief Financial Officer, he was a partner of DCDM, the largest accounting firm in Mauritius. He has extensive experience in feasibility studies, financial restructuring, share valuation and due diligence reviews. He was appointed as Director of NRL in October 2004.
 
Julian Hagger

Julian Hagger
Chief Sales and Marketing Officer

Born in 1970, Julian Hagger has a very rich career of some 16 years in Sales and Marketing in the Hotel Industry at international level. Mr. Hagger has spent more than 12 years at top Management and Corporate levels in prestigious international groups such as Ritz-Carlton, Marriott and Orient- Express. Before joining Naïade, Julian was the Executive Director - Worldwide Sales of Orient-Express and was based in their headquarters in London. Julian is a holder of a Science Degree in Business Administration (Hawaii Pacific University, U.S.A), and also holds a diploma in Hotel Management with specialisation in Sales and Marketing (Hotel Institute of Management, Montreux, Switzerland).

Alain Bhoyroo MAURITIUS
Alain Bhoyroo - General Manager, Produced by LUX* Tamassa

Alain joined the Company in 2000 as Assistant Manager of Le Tropical. He managed the hotel for 5 years, before overseeing the opening of Desroches Hotel, Seychelles. In 2008, he returned to Mauritius as GM of LUX* Le Morne (formerly Les Pavillons), after which he helped to launch Tamassa and became the GM in 2009.
 
Brice Lunot

Brice Lunot - General Manager, LUX* Grande Gaube

Originally from France, Brice joined the Company in 2007 as Resident Manager of LUX* Grand Gaube (formerly Legends). Before this, he enjoyed a rich and varied career in the hotel industry, including Le Meridien in Tahiti and Bora Bora. In 2008, he was appointed GM.

Ashish Modak - General Manager, LUX* Belle Mare

"Over 13 years' of international experience in the field of Hospitality Management, Ashish Modak joined Naiade Resorts as Resident Manager at Diva Maldives in July 2009.  Before joining our Group, Ashish was at Six Senses Hideaway, Oman, where he occupied the position of 'Executive Assistant Manager (Food & Beverage),' before being promoted in the capacity of Resident Manager in September 2008. He has also spent 3 years at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa in the Maldives, as Director - Food & Beverage and Resort Manager.  After more than three years, Ashish left an indelible legacy at LUX* Maldives to join LUX* Belle Mare as 'Resort Manager' in June 2011 .  His tenure as Resort Manager at LUX* Belle Mare has been outstanding in every respect and he was promoted in the position of General Manager of LUX* Belle Mare with effect 01st October 2012."

 

Jean Pierre Auriol Jean Pierre Auriol - General Manager, LUX* Le Morne

Having worked for various renowned hotels, including Dubai International Hotel, Nassau Beach Hotel, Le Meridien Group and The Residence, Jean Pierre joined us in 2003 as GM of LUX* Belle Mare (formerly Beau Rivage). In 2005, he became the GM at LUX* Le Morne (formerly Les Pavillons).
 
Mario de l'Estrac Mario de l'Estrac

Ile des Deux Cocos: Mario de L'Estrac's relaxed personality fits impeccably with the easy-going ambience of Ile des Deux Cocos, where he oversees operations. After a briefly serving as Senior Restaurant Manager/Beverage Manager with us at Les Pavilions hotel from 1998 to 2000, Mr de L'Estrac returned to Naïade in 2004 as Ile des Deux Cocos Assistant Manager and was then promoted to Island Manager in 2007. Passionate about catering and the consummate host with over 30 years' experience in the industry, he is also a qualified Food & Beverages trainer, certified by the Mauritius Qualifications Authority. Since 2008, Mr L'Estrac has been aDisciple d'Auguste Escoffier, meaning he is a member of a prestigious gastronomic association (confrérie) devoted to maintaining the stellar reputation and ageless traditions of French cuisine.

 
Pascal Bertrand Pascal Bertrand - Regional General Manager, LUX* Belle Mare, LUX* Grand Gaube, and Ile des Deux Cocos

Pascal Bertrand has a rich background from prestigious properties such as Ritz Carlton (in Cancun, Jamaica, and Dubai), Hotel Arts in Barcelona and Le Royal Meridien in Abu Dhabi. Mr. Bertrand joined us in 2004 as General Manager of Legends (now known as LUX* Grand Gaube) and was promoted in 2008 to Group Operations Manager, overseeing the operations of all hotels. In November 2010, he agreed to manage the Beau Rivage and further strengthen the position of this beautiful hotel (now known as LUX* Belle Mare) as one of the best in Mauritius. Pascal Bertrand was promoted to Regional General Manager on October 1st, 2012, and now oversees the operations of LUX* Belle Mare, LUX* Grand Gaube and Ile des Deux Cocos.
 
Tony Duval Tony Duval - General Manager, Produced by LUX* Merville Beach

A Mauritian local, Tony has extensive experience in the Mauritian hotel industry. He was part of the Le Saint Geran team for more than 30 years, moving to La Pirogue Hotel in 2005, where he later became Resident Manager. In 2010, he was appointed GM of Merville Beach.
 
Dominik Ruhl MALDIVES
Dominik Ruhl - General Manager, LUX* Maldives

Dominik began his career with a position at the flagship Ritz-Carlton Kapalua, Hawaii. He first came to the Maldives as Director of Operations at the Hilton Maldives Resort & Spa Rangali Island. In 2010, having worked in top management positions in Mexico and the Caribbean, he returned to the Maldives as GM of LUX* Maldives.

Stéphane graduated from the Ecole Hoteliere in France, before taking positions in Martinique, Guadeloupe, Turkey and elsewhere. He was appointed GM of LUX* Ile de La Réunion (formerly Grand Hotel Du Lagon) and Hotel Le Récif in 2008.
