LUX* Ile de La Réunion has something for everyone. For those in the mood for a laid-back day of island relaxation, there are plenty of sun-dappled spots where you can simply soak up the island ambience or slip into the coral-swept lagoon for a lazy swim. For the more adventurous, the island and resort has no shortage of exhilarating activities to get your pulse racing.

Swimming Pool:

Make a splash in the largest swimming pool on the island or lounge the day away on our comfy beach beds. With over 1100m² of crystal clear water, there's plenty of room for you to cool off while the kids dabble about in the shallow-depth area.

Water Sports

With the warm Indian Ocean only moments away and exclusive access to the island's only coral-sheltered lagoon, you'll never be at a loss for something to do. The coast is ideal for diving and snorkelling, with deep-sea fishing boats also available for charter. Go kayaking along the beach, swim in the ocean or discover the fragile marine environment beneath the turquoise waters of the lagoon.

Land-Based Activities

With more than its fair share of natural wonders, La Réunion never fails to delight even the most seasoned adventurers. Go hiking, bird watching or waterfall canyoning in La Réunion National Park. Then visit our World Heritage Site, the Pitons, Cirques and Ramparts of La Réunion. Mountain bike through the island's lush forests and visit the many quaint and colourful villages scattered across the countryside. There's also plenty to do back at the hotel, with a leisurely round of pétanque or a high-energy game of beach volleyball, tennis or ping pong. Head to our holistic LUX* Me fitness centre for a comprehensive work out or enjoy a relaxing Tai Chi and Qigong session outdoors in the sublime island setting.

Golf

After a restoration period of 14 months - greens and tees were renewed and several new bunkers were built while old ones were filled up - the course reopened in the middle of August 2007. The newly built club house has a swimming pool and three tennis courts. Here, you can play golf in the shade of eucalyptus trees and enjoy the magnificent view on the bay!
