The Trainer at LUX* Resorts will act as a change catalyst for organisational; transformation. He/She will do this through the education and development of our Team Members and serve as an integral component of the Human Resources function by supporting learning and development initiatives.
Minimum 3 to 5 years training experience in the hospitality industry.
Previous experience, preferably at management/operations level in the hotel sector and/or, Room Division will be an added advantage.
Excellent communication and presentation skills and passion to transfer knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to develop interpersonal relationships and people management skills.
Proficiency, at an intermediate level, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Ability to prepare monthly/quarterly training plans and training calendars for the hotel.
Support individual and team development, career development, training and experience based learning after interaction with General Manager /Human Resources Manager /Head of Departments.
Exceptional presentation and grooming.
Monitor and conduct learning and development reviews with each department.
Thorough knowledge of modern learning and development tools and technique.
Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Is a registered Trainer with the MQA (Mauritius Qualifications Authority).
Fluency in English and French both oral and written is a mst.
