Sales Consultant

Main Purpose of the Job
LUX* Resorts is holding auditions for the post of Sales Consultants based at its Central Reservations Office at Floréal.
The successful candidate will be responsible to maximise sales by ascertaining guest needs and offering an accurate and courteous service, always exceeding customer satisfaction.
The Sales Consultant will report to the Central Reservations Office Manager.
Minimum Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent.
Tertiary Education at Advanced Certificate/Diploma Level in Tourism and/ or Sales.
Previous Performance
At least two years of working experience in customer service environment.
A minimum one year of working experience in the Hotel Industry.
Other Requirements
  • Passionate about service.
  • High levels of Intergrity.
  • Willingness to work during odd hours, Weekends and Public holidays.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in English and French languages. A third language will be an advantage.
  • Excellent telephone skills.
  • A Pro-active, Dynamic and Flexible attitude. 
  • Strong interpersonal, persuasive and guest service skills.
  • Good data input skills as well as grammar and spelling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in small teams with little direction.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
  • Experience in Opera will be an advantage.
